Harbor
What your server is doing, and what it did.
An SSH terminal with live server stats, a post-mortem of what happened while you were away, and a database client for ten engines.
Looking after a server usually means a terminal in one window, a monitoring page in another, a database tool in a third, and guesswork about what happened at 3 a.m. Harbor puts this in one app. It connects with your own ssh and ~/.ssh/config (jump hosts included), keeps CPU, memory, disk and network in view while you type, reads the server's own logs and history to explain an incident after the fact, and runs database queries through the same SSH connection.
Free
- SSH terminal on your Mac's own ssh: config, keys, agent and jump hosts (ProxyJump) just work
- Server list read from ~/.ssh/config, with jump hosts kept apart as gateways, and tabs
- Live stats HUD: CPU, RAM, disk, network, load, swap, failed services, Docker and top processes
- History charts from sar or netdata on the server
- Database client for MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL and SQLite: read-only, with real paging, one connection and one query tab at a time
- Passwords are never stored. 17 terminal themes
Pro
- More engines: SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, ClickHouse and Cassandra
- "Allow changes": write queries and edit cells
- Export to CSV or Excel, copy as CSV
- Schema panel, and minimize a running query to the corner
- Several query tabs and connections at the same time
- Post-mortem: what happened while you weren't looking
- Saved commands (snippets) with variables, SSH tunnels and the Git panel
Requires macOS 14 or newer on Apple Silicon.
